These are Ultimate Racing 1/8 off-road liners. These rubber bands have been made to fit each of the inserted grooved guides. After fitting, the insert is practically firmly connected to the rim. In this way, the insert is prevented from moving in the side engagements, which improves stability in fast corners.
It also prevents the insert from spinning, thus helping to reduce the spin of the tire. Thanks to less centrifugation, the car is much more stable when accelerating.
They can be used on most liners, wheel brands and compounds, but their effects are greater on soft compound tires.
Depending on whether we want the insert to be more or less strong, it can be used in all three grooves, in two or only in one.
They are sold in bags of 50 pieces, so we can assemble 4 to 12 complete sets depending on the number of rubber bands we use for one insert. At the end of the tire's life, they can be used as many times as you like.
